Psychological Assessments

Individual psychotherapy is a one-on-one process with a trained therapist. It explores thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe environment. Various techniques help individuals gain insight, develop coping strategies, and promote personal growth. This approach enhances emotional well-being and self-understanding.

We commonly treat the following conditions:

  • Anxiety disorders, including generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety

  • Depression and mood disorders, such as major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder

  • Stress-related conditions, such as burnout and adjustment disorders

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Personality disorders

Our practice is dedicated to neuroaffirmative support, assisting individuals with the following diagnoses in attaining improved mental health:

  • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)

Family counselling in psychology aims to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger relationships within families. It addresses challenges like parenting, marital issues, behavioural problems, and emotional distress.

Psychological assessment is a process used to evaluate an individual's mental health, cognitive, and emotional functioning. It involves interviews, questionnaires, and standardised tests to gather information about a person's thoughts, behaviours, and feelings. The results can be used to identify psychological conditions, guide treatment options, and support personal development. Psychological assessments provide insights that contribute to understanding an individual's psychological profile.
